FAPESP/UdL joint call for projects: 11 French-Brazilian projects selected

The joint call for projects, led by the Fundação de Amparo to Pesquisa Do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP) and the Université de Lyon with funding from the IDEXLYON program, is the first under the cooperation agreement between the two public bodies.

This call for projects was open to projects from all disciplines in order to support and develop the most ambitious and innovative international scientific research and training collaborations. It is worth noting that this is the result of the French FAPESPWeek, which was held in Lyon and Paris in November 2019.

The Université de Lyon and the FAPESP co-selected 11 projects out of the 24 that were submitted. These projects focus on developing new research and knowledge in order to address important issues and increase international exposure by strengthening cooperation between the two geographical areas.

The 11 selected French-Brazilian projects will receive approximately € 760,000 in funding.
