A number of partners already on board

On Monday, May 13, the various partners of the 2025 event signed a Memorandum of Agreement. They are: The Saône Beaujolais Community of Communes (CCSB), the commune of Belleville-en-Beaujolais, the Rhône County and the Université de Lyon.

In the run-up to the Festival, this partnership will also be an opportunity for the CCSB, with the help of Pop’Sciences, to organize a series of activities throughout the region from the start of the 2024 academic year: meetings with groups of students and schoolchildren, events related to the Science Fair, etc.

Following the signing of the memorandum of understanding, Julie Figueras, a researcher at the DEEP laboratory (INSA Lyon), presented her research on biomethanation, a subject that is particularly relevant to the ambitions of the CCSB, and helped to illustrate the ways in which Pop’Sciences can make a concrete scientific contribution to the region.

So come and join us in a year’s time to celebrate science with over a hundred fun activities open to all: workshops, exhibitions, games, experiments and much more, all focusing on biodiversity, climate change and astronomy... Be sure to save the date!
