[PUBLIC EVENT] The Pop’Sciences Festival is coming back in May 2025!
The Pop’Sciences Festival is back for its fifth edition in Belleville-en-Beaujolais, part of the Saône Beaujolais Community of Communes. It will take place from May 16 to 18, 2025.
Held every two years in the heart of a neighborhood, town or emblematic location, the Pop’Sciences Festival is a must-attend event for young people, families and curious minds of all ages. It is also an opportunity for visitors to meet with researchers and science enthusiasts, to discover the secrets of research, and to better understand the world around us.
A festival taking curious minds on a journey to the heart of science
Free, fun and accessible to all, the Pop’Sciences festival is returning for its 5th edition with games, workshops, exhibitions and guided walks. The program includes: around 200 scientists and over 80 activities await visitors.
Come and chat with paleontologists surrounded by life-size dinosaurs, explore the human brain with neuroscientists or take a dive into the world of viruses with biologists. Find out about the environmental footprint of digital technology, renewable energy, the effects of overexposure to screens, extreme weather events and the role of women in science. Embark on an adventure by walking through a lava tunnel or taking part in archaeological digs.
