As part of the Tara Océan Foundation’s 20th anniversary celebrations, the Tara schooner will sail up the Rhône from the Mediterranean to Lyon, where it will take a break between two phases of the Tara Europa expedition. This exceptional stopover in Lyon will provide an opportunity for a scientific program, suitable for all audiences.

In partnership with Pop’Sciences, Tara Océan invites you to several events at the Université de Lyon between December 14, 2023 and January 20, 2024. This is the perfect opportunity to take a fresh look at the ocean through science, art, philosophy, and other disciplines, to explore the connections between climate, biodiversity, and pollution, and to help people observe, understand, and act so they can develop their own relationship with the ocean and help protect it.
