Manutech – SISE - Surface & Interface Science & Engineering
http://manutech-sise.universite-lyon.fr/
The main objective of the Manutech-SISE LabEx is to establish the Lyon Saint-Étienne site as an international benchmark for surface science and engineering. Its scientific objectives are to understand and gain expert knowledge in surface phenomena such as erosion, friction, chemical reactivity, wettability, optical properties and visual and tactile rendering. Its technological objectives are to create surface functionalities, particularly in tribology and optics, and to develop advanced methods for manufacturing surfaces, such as ultrashort laser machining, thin film, additive manufacturing and assembling. This LabEx is affiliated with the Manutech-USD EquipEx
