[CALL FOR APPLICATIONS] Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes launches 2 funds to support higher education & research

On The February 17, 2023

Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes offers more than 300 permanent grants to individuals, companies, local authorities, organizations and public interest institutions. Among them are several grants and calls for projects aimed at higher education, research and innovation.

In 2023, the region will continue to implement the priorities set out in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes 2022-2028 Plan for economy, employment, training and innovation. In order to strengthen territorial equity in students’ access to higher education, to contribute to creating an environment conducive to their success and to prepare them for their professional integration, the Region has decided to launch two calls for projects:

1. Acting for student success in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

This grant is intended for higher education institutions and groups wishing to implement actions that meet the following two criteria:

  1. Working towards employment: strengthening links with companies to help students enter the workforce and support student entrepreneurship, in conjunction with the actions implemented by the Student Centers for Innovation, Transfer and Entrepreneurship (PEPITE), supporting the equipment of Fablab-type educational innovation facilities, and taking steps to provide guidance and prevent students from dropping out;
  2. Protecting health, supporting people with disabilities, preventing sexual and gender-based abuse and ensuring student safety.

Particular attention will be paid to projects that involve several institutions on the same site and/or that seek to establish a dynamic coordination between the site and all the region’s stakeholders.

Project proposals must be accompanied by a preliminary operating and investment budget indicating the total amount of funding. The amount of the grant will depend on the project and its total cost.

Application deadline: March 31, 2023
